This graphic design service includes a brainstorming session, two rounds of choices and edits, a finalization session, and a downloadable logo kit with various logo sizes and orientations. Price increases to an extra $35 per hour when more rounds of logo choices and edits are needed.
LOGO DESIGNING PROCESS
The process for creating a logo involves multiple sessions of review and discussion.
SIGN CONTRACT AGREEMENT
All my services start with both parties (client and contractor) signing an independent contract agreement. This is to keep both parties safe and to establish a base for expectations and services. Click here to see a contract example.
BRAINSTORM SESSION
I like to kick it off by having a brainstorming session. This should involve everyone that wants to have an opinion about the logo – the “logo team”.
I have a presentation that I show to get the creative juices flowing and how to create an effective logo.
During the brainstorm, I’ll be taking notes on design. However, it will be easier for me to create a logo if there is a consensus or a vote on design elements.
I suggest the team discusses logo ideas after the presentation.
ROUND ONE
After the brainstorm session. I’ll take the top choices on design elements and create multiple different mockups for the new logo.
When I have the mockups ready, I’ll send them to you. My advice is to review them with the team, collect opinions, and do a survey. This is to narrow down the options. It may require a vote.
Send me the survey results with the edits/tweaks. I recommend we also do a quick zoom meeting, so I can hear/understand which changes need to be made on the logos.
ROUND TWO
I’ll take the results from round one and edit or mockup new logos.
When I have the mockups ready, I’ll send them to you. The team should review the options again and suggest FINAL edits.
During this round, the team should narrow down the logos to 1 or 2 options.
ROUND THREE + (OPTIONAL)
I’ll take the results from the previous round and edit or mockup new logos.
If we need to go into additional rounds, the price will increase to an extra $35 per hour of work that is required to make edits.
When I have the mockups ready, I’ll send them to you. The team should review the options again and suggest FINAL edits.
During this round, the team should narrow down the logos to 1 or 2 options.
FINALIZATION SESSION
I’ll take the suggestions and fine-tune one or two similar options from the previous round. I’ll send you the final new logo mockups.
At this point, I’ll need the final “OKAY” on the new logo to proceed with creating the downloadable logo kit.
Kit includes various logo sizes and orientations and a logo detail sheet.
I’ll invoice you once all services are complete.
